September 27th, 2009 | by crstuckey |ESPN.com’s Marc Stein is reporting on his Twitter that Jake Voskuhl will be attending Mavs training camp on a non-guaranteed deal. Anticlimactic…I know.
ESPNDallas.com will officially launch tomorrow. It is the third locally dedicated ESPN website to launch this year following in the footsteps of ESPNChicago.com and ESPNBoston.com. The launch furthers ESPN’s vision of covering the local scene with the power of a national entity.
I have to give the four letter credit for going out and recruiting some of DFW’s finest. My boy Tim MacMahon (formerly of the Dallas Morning News) will be taking his prolific coverage of the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks to ESPNDallas.com. If you aren’t already, follow MacMahon on Twitter (@tmacmahon) for breaking news, notes and an occasional Jessica Simpson jab.
Also joining the new venture will be Richard Durrett and Calvin Watkins. NFC East blogger and friend of MavsBall.com Matt Mosley will contribute to the Cowboys coverage. Marc Stein is also joining the gang and will contribute his Mavs-centric information.
The Mavs kick off their preseason schedule Oct. 5. Are you ready?
